Job Classification: Entry Level Firefighter/EMT
Snohomish County Fire District #4 is seeking to establish a hiring list for the entry-level Firefighter/EMT position.
All candidates must have a valid CPAT physical ability test within the last 12 months and a completed Snohomish County Fire District #4 Entry Level Firefighter-EMT application to be considered for an oral board interview.
Oral Boards- Fire District #4 will invite the top candidates to an oral board interview. The week of May 18th through 21st, 2026.

At SCFD4, you’ll work alongside an exceptional team of company officers, full-time and part-time firefighters/EMTs, Firefighters/Paramedics, and outstanding command and administrative staff. Our department responds to a wide range of emergency calls, including structure fires, rescues, hazardous materials incidents, wildland fires, and all ALS and BLS medical emergencies.
Our firefighters have the opportunity to operate a variety of apparatus, including engines, brush trucks, ambulances, and tenders, offering diverse and engaging work experience.

SCFD4 is one of the few fire agencies with its own fire training facility, including Class-A live fire capabilities, providing invaluable hands-on experience.
