Salary Information: $48,506 - $62,955 annually (includes mandatory FLSA Overtime pay) plus City paid 2.5% deferred compensation contribution and incentive pay for education and advanced certifications.

Valid OREGON State Driver's License: Possess and maintain a State of Oregon Paramedic Certification (EMT-P), American Heart Association (AHA) certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

General Statement of Duties: As a member of the fire department and under the direct supervision of a fire department captain, a firefighter
performs firefighting, rescue, emergency medical care and other types of emergency response related duties.
Participates in fire prevention, code enforcement, and public safety education activities. Helps to maintain and
make minor repairs to the fire station, fire apparatus and emergency response equipment. Participates in
training and personal development activities necessary to acquire and maintain the knowledge and skills needed
to perform the duties of a firefighter in a proficient and safe manner.
