The department requires the candidate PHQ. You can access the questionnaire through your candidate account. The PHQ must be completed by the closing date or you may not be considered further in the process.
Salary Information: Starting salary $27.42/hour

Area Information: The City of Piqua is located 25 miles north of Dayton, Ohio on the I-75 corridor along the banks of the Great Miami River. Age: Applicants for Police examinations may take the test six (6) months prior to their twenty-first (21) birthday. All appointees for the position of police officer must be twenty-one (21) or older.
No person is eligible to receive an original appointment as a police officer when he/she is thirty-five (35) years of age or older, and no person can be declared disqualified as over age prior to that time.

High School Grad/GED: Yes
Valid OHIO State Driver's License: Yes and acceptable driving record.
Ability to Read/Speak English: Yes
Disqualifiers: A person may be ineligible to receive an original appointment as a police officer if he/she has a criminal record.
