Salary Information: Prescribed by contract. Currently $42,177.44 (Step A) - $69,640.92 (Step D). Part Time pay ranges from $13.50 per hour to $16.50 per hour.

Department Overview: The Perry Township Police Department is a highly respected law enforcement organization comprised of 11 full time officers and 10 part time officers along with a full time Administrative Assistant. Our police department provides 24 hour professional full service policing to our citizens with a strong commitment to the Community Policing Concept.

NATURE OF WORK
With direction from a Lieutenant or Sergeant, has responsibility to enforce all local, state and federal laws within Perry Township. Performs other duties as assigned.
Work is performed under the direction of a Lieutenant or Sergeant. Work is performed within the guidelines of department's general orders with some discretion in enforcement of local, state, and federal laws.
Work is reviewed daily by supervisors through reports and performance evaluations.
