Job Classification: Police Officer
The City of Tualatin is currently accepting applications for Police Officer. The position is open continuous. Lateral candidates will be given preference.

SALARY on 1/1/25:
$38.26 - $48.40 Hourly$79,580.80 - $100,672.00 Annually

Physical Agility Testing:The City will incorporate the Oregon Physical Agility Test (ORPAT) in the later stages of the hiring process. However, the city will accept ORPAT scores from the National Testing Network (NTN) and from other Oregon Police Agencies as long as they meet the following requirements:
We will not accept NTN "PAT" scores. Only ORPAT scores will be considered.

Test Requirements:
The City of Tualatin requires entry level candidates to complete a written test prior to the closing date of this recruitment. Lateral candidates are not required to take either the written or ORPAT test through NTN, although passing ORPAT scores will be accepted if they meet the criteria listed above.
Job Requirements
Age: Minimum age of 21 years.
US Citizenship:1) Status as a U. S. citizen; or 2) Become a U.S. citizen within 18 months of employment*; or 3) Status as a non-immigrant legally admitted in the United States under a Compact of Free Association. Candidates hired under citizenship
*Criterion two must obtain U.S. citizenship within the first 18 months of hire or may be subject to termination.
High School Grad/GED: Graduation from high school or the equivalent.
Valid State Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
