Job Classification: Communications Dispatcher to work midnights and swing shift
The Bellevue Police Department is currently hiring for Communications Dispatcher. Candidates must take the ECOMM National exam through NTN (www.nationaltestingnetwork.com) and complete the Candidate PHQ (Personal History Questionnaire). Any Candidate with military service should submit a copy of their DD214 Form with their application. Candidates must also complete the Bellevue Police Department job application located here and submit everything via the NTN website.
Salary Information: Starting: $39,166.40. Top out currently at $53,580.08 base wage with 5 years or more of service.
Benefit Information: Health insurance, optical and dental insurance. Paid vacation, holidays and personal days. Longevity pay and uniform allowance.

Department Overview: The department is currently staffed by 14 full-time officers, 4 full-time dispatchers and 4 part-time personnel. The department participates in a county-wide UAV team and the Sandusky County Special Response Team.

Schooling Prior and Post Hiring : Ability to maintain required certifications mandatory by the State of Ohio and Bellevue Police Department.
