Bath Township Fire Department is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Firefighter/Paramedic.
Located in Northwest Ohio, Bath Township has a population of 9,650 and an annual run volume of approximately 1700 calls for service. We are a progressive department with a focus on safety, training, professional development, and customer service. Our core values are: Service, Integrity, Professionalism, and Compassion.
Minimum qualifications include: 18 years of age, high school diploma or GED, Ohio Firefighter Level II certification, valid Ohio driver’s license, & State of Ohio Paramedic, Advanced EMT, or Basic EMT certificate with requirement to obtain Paramedic certification according to terms set forth by the fire department.
Desired qualifications include: Hazmat Technician level certification, ACLS, & PALS, but not required.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills will be required for the successful candidate. Employment is dependent on successful completion of CPAT or Firefighter Mile physical fitness evaluation/assessment, drug screening, thorough driving/criminal background check, and OP&FPF physical.
Bath Township employees are required to reside in Allen or an adjacent county.
· FF/Paramedic pay rates: $23.39 - $ 26.55 per hour.
