Job Classification: Police Officer

The Greenhills Police Department is seeking to establish an eligibility list for the position of Police Officer. You must be certified in the State of Ohio by the time of appointment.

All candidates must take the FrontLine National exam through National Testing Network, as well as complete the department application, located here.

Salary Information: Currently $30.00/hr. ($62,400/annual) to $35.00/hr. ($72,800.00/annual)

Benefits Information: Full range of healthcare, holidays, vacation & other time off. Greenhills Police Officer work 10 Hours shifts of four on and three off. Days off rotate every 6 weeks.

Department Overview: The department has 11 sworn and 2 nonsworn personnel, including a chief, lieutenant, sergeant, corporal, and patrol officers. The department has modern equipment, is CALEA accredited, and serves a low crime suburban community with supportive citizens.

Hiring Process:
After certification on list, physical agility test, panel interview, polygraph, psychological exam, medical exam, drug screening.

Working Conditions:
Greenhills Police Officers work a four-day on-duty, three-day off-duty schedule of ten-hour workdays with frequent weekends off. Officers have a generous package of scheduled salary increases, training opportunities, healthcare, holidays, vacation days, and other time off. Uniforms and equipment are provided.
