Arizona Fire & Medical Authority (AFMA) is accepting test scores for Recruit Firefighter
This recruitment will establish a joint eligibility list for Recruit Firefighter.
This position requires both FireTEAM and a valid CPAT. If you do not aquire your CPAT through NTN we will ask that you provide it before moving to a practical assessment.
The FireTEAM written exam must be taken between April 18, 2025 – June 6th, 2023, and submitted to the host agency: Arizona Fire & Medical Authority.
A valid CPAT must be taken between December 6, 2024 – June 6th, 2025, and submitted at the time of application.

Area Information: Today, the Authority, an ISO Class 1 / Internationally Accredited organization, serves over 75,000 people, providing all hazard emergency services, including 9-1-1 and inter-facility ambulance service from 12 fire stations strategically located in the Phoenix metro-area’s west and east valley. Currently, all members are on a 48-96 hour schedule.
