The City of Bowling Green is currently hiring for Firefighter. CPAT Certification is due by June 30, 2025.
Candidates must also complete the department application, found at www.joinbgky.org/fire. Applications must be completed by Saturday, May 31, 2025.
***CARRYOVER TEST SCORES****This year firefighter applicants have the option to carry over written test scores from (2023 & 2024). Applicants will still be required to submit an online application, pre-polygraph questionnaire (Form I-2) and complete the Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) in order to be considered for the position.

Salary Information: $55,836 ($4,300 additional upon graduating the academy)
