Beaver Dam Fire & Rescue Department is seeking to establish an eligibility list for Firefighter/Paramedic! All candidates must complete the FireTEAM exam through National Testing Network as well as complete the department application, located here.

The department requires the candidate PHQ. You can access the questionnaire through your candidate account. NTN suggests completing the PHQ as soon as possible or you may not be considered further in the process.

Salary Information: $54,662.64 starting, $63,447.60 after 1 year

Benefit Information: WI pension, health insurance

Area Information: City and rural areas, 100 sq. miles of fire protection, 150 sq. miles EMS. Dodge County WI

Population: 16,500 city, with rural 25,000.

Necessary Certifications:

Wisconsin Paramedic at time of hire. Wisconsin is a National Registry State for out of state reciprocity.

Job Information:

3 platoon/shifts, Chicago style 24/48 hour shift rotation.
City/rural fire-EMS environment.
2900 calls per year.
1 station.
We are a member of MABAS Division 129.
City population 16,500, rural population 8,500.
Near Madison, Milwaukee, and Fox Valley region.
We protect most of the 6500 acre Beaver Dam Lake.
