Job Classification: Police Officer (Two full time officers)
Village of Brooklyn Heights is currently establishing a Police Officer hiring list! All candidates must take the Frontline National exam through National Testing Network prior to October 5th, 2025.
The department requires the candidate PHQ and Public Safety Self Assessments (PSSAs). You can access the assessments through your candidate account. NTN suggests completing the PHQ and PSSA as soon as possible so there is not a delay in your process.
Salary Information: $74,000 year one, $93,700 after four years (prior time as full time officer transfers for lateral transfers). Candidates with four or more years full time experience start at top salary. Currently in collective bargaining for years 2026, 2027, 2028.
