Position Title: Part Time Firefighter/EMT/Paramedic

Miami Township Fire & EMS is currently building an eligibility list for the position of Part Time Firefighter/EMT/Paramedic! Candidates are required to complete the Public Safety Self Assessments (PSSA) and Department Application to be considered.

The PSSA can be accessed through your NTN account and the department application can be found here.

Candidates are also required to complete the Firefighter Mile physical assessment through NTN to be considered.

Salary Information:

Part Time Firefighter/EMT: $15.60 starting up to $21.19 with shift differential pay
Part Time Firefighter/Paramedic: $18.12 starting pay up to $23.75 with shift differential pay

Benefit Information: Weekend, Holiday and Longevity pay incentives, shift differential incentive, paid training.

We are a progressive suburban combination department with over 80 members providing service to a community of 43,000 residents.
We have four staffed stations that provide coverage to more than 33 square miles of territory including five miles of I-275 and more than 7 miles of the Little Miami River.
We respond to over 6,000 calls for service annually with approximately 80% of those being EMS-related calls.
We have an aggressive EMS protocol that allows our paramedics to work to the peak of their scope of practice.
We have an aggressive approach to fire-related emergencies with a results-based expectation.
We provide a skilled technical rescue response for rope, ice, water, and lost person incidents.
We are committed to training to assure employees have the skills necessary to handle emergencies and sponsor many internal and external training opportunities.
