Position Title: Firefighter/EMT
The City of Mills Fire Department is building an eligibility list for the position of Firefighter/EMT. Candidates are required to complete the FireTeam exam, Public Safety Self-Assessment (PSSA) and Department application to complete the application process.

Salary information: $46,558.94 with step increases
Benefit information: Paid health insurance, dental insurance, vision, Firefighter plan B retirement, and life insurance. Paid leave, incentive pay for Paramedics and EMT-Intermediates.

Testing is being conducted to establish a hiring list for career positions. Successful candidates will complete an oral interview, to be scheduled during the middle of January 2025. If offered the position, candidates will have to pass a background check, drug test, and complete a physical agility assessment within 6-months of hire (candidates with a CPAT card valid within a year of offer date will forego physical agility assessment).
