Green Township Police Department is currently hiring.
Salary Information: $77,625 - $92,560 base salary, 3 steps to top out pay. Opportunities for overtime and paid off-duty details. The top base salary in 2025 will be $92,560. Lateral hires may start above step 1 depending on experience.

Department Overview: The Green Township Police Department is a full-service operation focused on providing professional policing and personal employee growth. Our growing team includes 63 full-time officers. Our mission is to enhance safety, protect property, and maintain order in our community, and we enjoy considerable support from our community. We have a Patrol Section, Community Policing Team, Bike Patrol, School Resource Officers, Criminal Investigations Section, Canine Unit, Honor Guard, Traffic Crash Reconstruction, an Impact Team, and participate on a regional SWAT team, drug task force, and Mobile Field Force unit. Modern uniforms and equipment, including load bearing outer vests and cruiser/body cameras, are provided by the department.
Area Information: Located on the west side of the City of Cincinnati in Hamilton County, we encompass approximately 28 square miles.
Population: 60,424 residents as of the 2020 census, making Green Township the second largest jurisdiction in Hamilton County and the second largest township in Ohio.

Additional phases in the hiring process will include interviews, a background investigation, a truth verification test, and medical and psychological evaluations. We do not conduct a physical agility test, however applicants must be able to meet all requirements to obtain OPOTA certification. Schedule:No rotating shifts.
