Position Title: Firefighter/ EMT or Paramedic

Pinewood Fire Department is currently building an eligibility list. Applicants are required to complete the FireTEAM exam through you National Testing Network. Applicants will need to complete and upload a department application which can be found here.

The department requires the candidate PHQ. You can access the questionnaire through your candidate account.

Salary Information: $53,000 - $61,000

Benefit Information: Medical (with HRA), dental, life, PRPRS retirement and tuition reimbursement.

Department Overview: Pinewood Fire District is the heart of the community in Munds Park. The position of firefighter will provide support internally to all employees and externally to our customers as well as surrounding response agencies.

Arizona State Firefighter I&II certification
State of Arizona EMT-B or Paramedic Certification (Must be Arizona Certified)

Special Requirements:

Must successfully complete job-related physical and medical evaluation, including drug screen.
Must possess, or be able to obtain by the time of hire, a valid Arizona driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record.
Must successfully pass a background investigation
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in the English language
Must be able to interact and work with paid and volunteer staff and public
Must be self-motivated
