The Village of Hanover Park Fire Department is accepting applications for Part-time Firefighter/EMT.

All candidates must also complete the FireTEAM exam in order to be considered for the job.
Salary Information: Salary Information: $22.17/hour for an EMT; $23.47/hour for a Paramedic

The Hanover Park Fire Department provides fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to the residents and visitors of the Village of Hanover Park and surrounding unincorporated areas. The Hanover Park Fire Department was created on July 1, 2000 when the Village assumed control of the Hanover Park Fire Protection District, previously called the Ontarioville Fire Protection District.
The Fire Department is staffed by dedicated professionals available to respond to calls for service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Hanover Park Fire Department has an Insurance Services Office (ISO) Class 2 rating.The Hanover Park Fire Department has a progressive training program. From the time a person is accepted into the ranks as a firefighter their training begins. Due to the wide array of emergencies we respond to, we require our firefighters to have knowledge and understanding of every aspect of the job of fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical services.
