Position Title: Police Officer
The Wapakoneta Police department is currently hiring for the position of Police Officer! Candidates are required to complete NTN's Frontline National exam, Public Safety Self-Assessment (PSSA) and Department Application (found here) to be considered for the position.
Salary Information: Sworn Officer $29.20 initial with $32.14 after 1 year.
Benefit Information: The City of Wapakoneta provides life insurance, health insurance, educational incentives, years of service pay, shift differential, and paid vacation and sick leave accrual on day 1. We provide additional personal leave days after 1 year. Employees will be under the Ohio Police & Fire Pension upon retirement.
