Position Title: Reserve Paramedic

Pinewood Fire Department is currently building an eligibility list for Reserve Paramedic. All applicants are required to complete the FireTEAM exam through you National Testing Network.

All applicants must complete the Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ) and Public Safety Self Assessment (PSSA) through National Testing Network located in your candidate profile.

All applicants will need to complete and upload a department application which can be found here.

Salary Information: Part Time Paramedic: $18.50/Hour (Minimum four 12-hour shifts required monthly)

Department Overview: Pinewood Fire District is the heart of the community in Munds Park. We have a great culture within our department and strive to provide the best customer service to all our customers. The position of Paramedic will provide support internally to all employees, and externally to our customers as well as surrounding response agencies.

The district contains one station with 15 full time line personnel. The district contains two rescues, which will be supplemented by the Paramedic/Reserve positions.

City/County/Area Information: A Community Located 120 Miles North Of Phoenix And 20 Miles South Of Flagstaff Sits Munds Park, Arizona. Considered To Be A Hidden Gem In Northern AZ Where Many Families Go To “Beat The Heat”. Munds Park Is Home To Pinewood Country Club And The Beautiful 18 Hole Championship Golf Course That You Can See From The 17. There Is Many Outdoor Recreation Activities For All Ages Such As Hiking Trails, Fishing, Mountain Biking, And ATV Riding. Grab Some Great Food, Drinks, Listen To Live Music And Sit Outside At The Local Restaurants And Saloon. With That Small Town Kind Of Feel And A Place Where Everyone Says Hello.

Additional Requirements:

Must be able to obtain medical direction from Flagstaff Medical Center prehospital.

Must possess, or be able to obtain by the time of hire, a valid Arizona driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record.

Must successfully pass a background investigation

Must be able to read, write, and communicate in the English language

Must be able to interact and work with paid and volunteer staff and public

Must be self-motivated
