Position Title: Career Paramedic/Firefighter

Organization: Franktown Fire Protection District

Franktown Fire Protection District is seeking dedicated and qualified individuals to join our team as Career Firefighter/Paramedics. We are building an eligibility list for this position, and we invite all interested candidates to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide advanced life support and emergency medical care.
Perform firefighting, rescue, and emergency response duties.
Participate in ongoing training and drills.
Operate firefighting and emergency medical equipment.
Engage in community outreach and fire prevention activities.

Requirements:

Completion of the NTN FireTEAM exam.
Completion of the Public Safety Self-Assessment (PSSA), accessed through your candidate account.
Valid NREMT or Colorado State Paramedic Certification.
Valid Drivers License
ACLS & PALS or equivenelnt
High School Diploma or GED
AHA CPR
Valid CPAT or the ability to pass FFPD'd internal physical abilities test
Able to pass a criminal history review
Ability to meet physical and medical standards for firefighting.

Salary Information:

Starting entry level salary is $75,895 - $90,192 annually with annual pay increases based on time and certifications.

Hiring Process:
The Franktown Fire Protection District is conducting a hiring process for the position of Career Firefighter/Paramedic. The process will develop a candidate pool to be utilized to fill any immediate and future needs. The list will be kept in effect until the Chief of the District determines another list and process is needed.

Colorado Firefighter 1
Hazardous Materials Operations Certified
