Department Overview: Nestled along the banks of Mill Creek and its surrounding hills, Turner is so close, yet such a world away. Necessary Certifications:
Basic DPSST Certificate following completion of training, within 18 months of employment. Intoxilyzer certification within 12 months of employment. CPR Certification.

Additional Requirements:
Preemployment drug screen and background check

Minimum Qualifications:

Participate in competitive testing including physical fitness testing, reading comprehension, writing skills, written, physical/vision, hearing and psychological examinations, and be able to pass strict Police Department background investigation and drug testing.
Pass the pre-employment drug test
Pass the pre-employment background check.
Be able to work periodic overtime and a variety of 24-hour rotating shifts including holidays and weekends.
