Siloam Springs Fire Department is hiring for the position of Firefighter/EMT or Firefighter/Paramedic-Entry Level. Candidates are required to complete NTN's FireTEAM exam and PSSA to move forward with the hiring process.

Department Overview: The Siloam Springs Fire Department provides Fire, Rescue, and EMS transport services to over 50 square miles of western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma. We currently staff three fire stations with a ladder company, two engine companies, two ambulances, and a shift commander. Total budgeted staff includes 63 career sworn members and 9 part-time positions. We provide an extensive training program that offers the opportunity to attend paramedic school, conferences, and out-of-state courses. We are a recognized EMS training center, and our members and surrounding communities well utilize our on-site live fire training tower. The department actively participates in local events and is well supported by the community.
Area Information: Siloam Springs is located at the southwest corner of Benton County and shares a border with Oklahoma. While the region and the city are growing, Siloam Springs has maintained its small-town feel. City amenities include numerous bike and walking trails, and many parks including City Lake Park and the Kayak Park, with an additional kayak and watersports park being built nearby. The city library and Chautauqua Amphitheatre host family events throughout the year, and Natural Falls State Park is a short drive over the state border. Siloam Springs serves as a hub for the surrounding rural areas, and has many retail and service establishments available, including its hospital. Major shopping, malls, and all the benefits of a major metropolitan area are a short drive away. Siloam Springs is home to John Brown University and within commuting distance of the University of Arkansas and Northwest Arkansas Community College.
