Position Title: Police Officer

The City of Mount Healthy is currently hiring for the position of Police Officer. Candidates are required to complete NTN's Frontline National Exam to be considered for the position.

Salary Information:

Starting annual salary with certification: $64,482

Top out salary in the fourth year: $87,381

· 12-hour workday schedule for patrol officers (7A-7P, 7P-7A)

Working Conditions :

The position of Patrol Officer requires general and varied duty work in the protection of life and property through enforcement of laws and ordinances. Work normally consists of routine patrol, traffic regulation, and elements of personal danger. Officers must be able to act without direct supervision and to exercise independent judgment in response to calls and meeting emergencies. Officer may receive special assignments based on specialized abilities, and or knowledge. Officers may be required to assist other personnel of the department in conducting investigations, searches, and related duties as assigned. Assignments and general special instructions are received from officer who reviews work methods and results through reports, personal inspection, and discussion. The Mt.
