Position: Firefighter/EMT or Firefighter Paramedic

The Tavares Fire Department is hiring for the position of Firefighter/EMT or Firefighter/Paramedic. Candidates are required to complete the following to be considered further in the hiring process.

Salary information:
Base salary FF/EMT = $46,970

FF/EMT – 16.17 per hour ($41,925 per year) plus holiday pay ($5,045 per year)

Base salary FF/Paramedic = $56,690

FF/Paramedic – 16.17 per hour ($41,925 per year) plus holiday pay ($5,045 per year) plus $3.75 per hour ($9,720) medic incentive

Shift consists of 24/48-hour work schedule (2,592 hours/year)
