JUVENILE CENTER
Cook ($30,357.00- 36,896.00)
REQUIREMENTS: Completion of the eighth grade.
DESIRED: High school diploma or G.E.D. with paid experience in institutional or commercial service/preparation.
DUTIES: Under the direction of a designated Juvenile Center Supervisor, the cook is responsible for preparing/service nutritional and palatable meals according to recipes and the established menus. The cook is required to operate a variety of kitchen equipment and utensils with utmost care and maintain strict accountability for items that pose a facility security concern. The cook is required to stock food inventory and supplies and maintains accurate records as instructed. The cook may be required to supervise the work of Juvenile Center residents assigned to kitchen duty. The cook may be required to work weekends, holidays or evenings as scheduled.
