Position Title: Firefighter Paramedic

The North Lauderdale Fire Department is hiring for the position of Firefighter Paramedic. This position after training will be placed on a 24/48 hour work schedule. Candidates must complete NTN's FireTEAM exam to move forward in the process.

Department Overview: North Lauderdale Fire Rescue is a career service department with 46 full time fire rescue personnel, 2 part-time fire rescue personnel, 2 fire inspector and 2 civilian logistic personnel. All fire rescue personnel must possess a minimum Firefighter II certification level of training based on NFPA 1001 Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications. The department provides emergency medical services (EMS), fire suppression, and fire prevention, operating out of two fire stations as well as a state-of-the-art Fire Rescue Training facility which provides all required training to NLFR personnel and outside Fire Rescue agencies.
