Age: 21
US Citizen: Yes
High School Grad/GED: Yes
Valid State Driver’s License: Yes
Ability to Read/Speak English: Yes
Vision: Correctable to 20/20
College: Preferred
Academy Certification: Preferred
Prior Experience: Preferred

Disqualifiers

Suspension of driver’s license within the past 5 years.
One or more traffic crime convictions in the last 5 years (DUI, Hit & Run, etc.).
Use of marijuana within one year from date of application.
Illegal drug usage within past 3 years and/or illegal sale of any drugs.
Illegal use of ANY controlled substance while employed in a criminal justice capacity (including marijuana).
Illegal use of heroin or fentanyl.
Illegal use of a controlled substance through injection into the body at any time.
Any adult use or possession of a drug classified as a hallucinogen within five (5) years prior to application for employment.
Pattern of illegal use of prescription medications.
Other drug use outside these standards will be considered on a case by case basis.
Adult felony conviction and/or any crime under DV statute and/or sexual misconduct.
Misdemeanor or felony conviction while employed in a criminal justice capacity.
Dishonorably discharged from the US armed forces.
Lied during the hiring process and/or revocation, denial, or suspension of ANY state or national certified criminal justice certification.
Brady List Officer (see Brady v. Maryland, 83 S Ct. 1194 – yr.1963
Failure to pay income tax or child support.
