Salary Information: Step 1: $52,417.24

Working Conditions:
The Parma Regional Dispatch Center is comprised of 18 Dispatchers, 1 Civilian technology support position, and 1 Civilian Communications Center Manager. A Parma Police Department Lieutenant is also assigned as the Communications Center Commander. Dispatchers currently operate on a permanent 8-hour shift assignment. Dispatchers are required to complete a Communications Center Training Program and will obtain the Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) certification after the date of hire. Once training is complete, all Dispatchers receive in-service training. Further developmental training is offered, as needed.
