Salary Information: Each Fire Department has its own pay scale however average starting wages range between $65K - $80K + benefitsBenefit Information: Each FD has their own benefit package. All FD’s in our consortium participate in the WI Retirement System pension plan.

CVTC partners with area FD’s that participate in our Regional FD Hiring Process. The NTN will be providing the Ergometrics portion of our Hiring Process while CVTC retains the application portal and CPAT portions of the process. The FD’s in our consortium at this time are: Ashland FD, Chippewa Falls Fire and Emergency Services, Eau Claire FD, Green Bay Metro FD, Holmen Area FD, La Crosse FD, Menomonie FD, Oshkosh FD, Stevens Point FD, Wisconsin Rapids FD.
