Position Title: Part-time Firefighter

Salary Information: $17.02-$20.42/hour

Millcreek Township has proudly protected our community for over 80 years. We are currently expanding our team by hiring full-time and part-time firefighters to support a growing department composed of career staff, part-time employees, and our exceptional volunteers.

Minimum Qualifications – Part-Time Applicants

Applicants for part-time positions must possess the following:

Firefighter I Certification (or Essentials of Firefighting with the ability to obtain Firefighter I within one year)
EMT Certification (or EMR with the ability to obtain EMT within one (1) year of hire.
Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
Hazardous Materials Operations Certification
NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800 Certifications
High School Diploma or GED
Healthcare Provider CPR Certification
Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) Completion

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following credentials will be given additional consideration:

Three or more years of firefighting experience
Fire Service Instructor I and II Certification
Driver/Operator – Pumper Certification
Driver/Operator – Aerial Certification
Basic Vehicle Rescue Certification
