Position Title: Police Patrol Officer - Lateral Transfer

Salary Information:
Starting Salary - $84,254 to $103,054 based on longevity
Sign - On Bonus - $2,500.00

A significant amount of accrued sick leave with another public entity in the State of Ohio can be transferred to the City of Beachwood. Up to six years of service time with another police agency in the State of Ohio can be transferred to the City of Beachwood for the purpose of calculating vacation accrual, which employees are eligible to receive after their one-year probationary period.

Prior Experience: Yes – 2 years Full Time Law Enforcement, and currently employed as a Police Officer
Necessary Certifications: OPOTA
Additional Requirements:

Submit to a written exam, thorough background check, polygraph and/or voice stress analysis, psychological assessment, medical exam to include drug screen, interviews and any other method necessary to ascertain the qualifications and abilities of the applicant.
