Salary Information: up to $83,220.80 Base per year

Benefit Information: Information: The Painesville Police Department offers a salary range up to $83,220.80 plus excellent benefits, including up to $4400.00 in bonuses (uniform/range/spanish proficiency/degree) 3% wage stipend annually, 104 paid holiday hours, shift differential, 200 hour annual compensatory time buyback, 120 hour sick leave buy back, and a Longevity bonus.

Department Overview
The Painesville Police Department is comprised of 44 full-time sworn officers position team. Patrol officers work 12 hour shifts. We offer a number of career opportunities that include patrol, detectives, regional SWAT, bomb squad, drone team, accident reconstruction team assignments, federal task force assignments, school resource officers, and community policing opportunities. The Painesville Police Department is committed to protecting every member of our community and to improving the quality of life for our residents.
