Qualifications:
Salary Information: $6,858- $8,568 monthly (FY 2025) – qualified laterals to start at step 3 $7,499/month.

Department Information: The Oak Harbor Fire Department (OHFD) is a professional municipal fire department that offers a wide range of services, including fire suppression, emergency medical response, technical rescue, hazardous materials management, fire code enforcement, fire investigations, and public safety education. OHFD operates from one station staffed 24/7, with a second 24/7 station currently under construction and expected to be completed by late 2025. The department follows a 3-platoon, 48/96 work schedule and is staffed by a Fire Chief, Deputy Chief, Training Captain, three Shift Captains, three Lieutenants, 13 Firefighter/EMTs, and an Administrative Assistant.
