Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue is Hiring Entry & Lateral Firefighter Paramedics! You must already be certified.

Salary: $7,779.51-$11,113.58/Monthly
Shift: 24-hr
Overview
CKFR is taking emergency response to the next level. This position performs multiple tasks in potentially dangerous environments and is the first line emergency responder to fire and medical emergencies. You'll prevent, combat and extinguish fires and provide emergency rescue services. You'll also:
· Examine, treat and transport injured patients. As a paramedic, you'll serve as the first line of advanced life support.
· Provide on scene/incident patient care and direct the work of EMTs and other staff to assist with this care.
· Conduct rescues and extractions.
· Participate in District and community events.
· Participate in regular trainings, drills and safety courses.
· Drive apparatus, operate pumps, ventilate roofs, assist with salvage and overhaul operations.
· Operate a variety of portable power and hand equipment tools, laying hose, connecting lines and nozzles.
Requirements
. WA State Paramedic Certification & proof of CPAT (not provided)
· IFSAC Academy Graduation & Firefighter I (training provided for exemplary candidates)
· Background, physical and psychological clearance prior to start date
· NTN/Fire TEAM NOT required, but CKFR internal problem solving and candidate profile testing must be complete
