POSITION: Full-time Firefighter

SALARY: $55,470

With a rich history of over 80 years, the fire departments of Millcreek Township are central to the community's resilience and safety. Today, we seek to further build our capacity by hiring an additional fifteen (15) Full-Time Firefighters. These new members will become part of our transformation into a department comprising both paid full-time staff, part-time staff, and our outstanding volunteer teams from four departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

All candidates are required to have the following minimum qualifications to be considered:

· Firefighter II or Firefighter I Certification with the ability to obtain Firefighter II Certification within 3 years of hire date.

Paramedic Certification or EMT Certification with ability to obtain Paramedic certification within 3 years of hire date.
Valid Driver’s License with an Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
Hazardous Materials Operations Certification
NIMS Certificates 100, 200, 700, 800
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Healthcare Provider CPR Certification
· Emergency Vehicle Operator Course Completion (EVOC)

Our ideal candidate would have these additional qualifications:

3+ years of firefighting experience
Fire Service Instructor 1 and 2 Certification
Driver Operator-Pumper
Driver Operator-Aerial
Basic Vehicle Recue
