Responsibilities:
This is a full-time sworn law enforcement position under the general direction of a ranking officer or supervisor. Police Officers enforce laws, investigate complaints, which may have an impact on the community, maintain order, assist people, identify criminal activity, apprehend and arrest offenders, identify the source of problems in the community and work with the community to resolve issues. Police Officers may be eligible to apply for specialty assignments, such as evidence technician, evidence/property clerk, community intervention team, peer support, instructor opportunities, field training officer, and more. Salary Information:
$28.87 - $33.56 per Hour
