This posting is for the District of Columbia Fire and EMS Department's Cadet recruitment, by invitation only. Candidates interested in applying to other positions with the department will need to retest at a later time. The department will be paying for the NTN exam fee for candidates applying to this position.
All candidates must complete their NTN Firefighter exam and Public Safety Self Assessment (PSSA) by June 14, 2025. Candidates have the option to take the exam virtually, or at any NTN testing center. NTN will be offering test sessions at the DC Fire and EMS Training Academy on select dates.
