Applicants must meet minimum qualifications and pass the Recruiter phone screen to be eligible to take the NTN exam for our department.

Starting pay is based on a step scale and will be determined by prior experience in law enforcement, policing, or military service. Please refer to our Written Directives under the section 060.000 Selection and Hiring of Police Personnel (II).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To qualify for this position, an applicant must be Colorado P.O.S.T. certified or for out-of-state applicants, must have the ability to successfully challenge the Colorado P.O.S.T. and obtain certification.
