Academy Certification:
Not required to apply. All new hires will be required to successfully complete a District 9 prescribed career recruit school.
Necessary Certifications:
Current WA State Paramedic at time of application. National Registry Paramedic is accepted, but the applicant must complete the transfer of their certification to the State of Washington before completion of recruit school.
Additional Requirements:
New hires must provide documentation as required by the Federal Government that proves their legal right to work in the United States. Valid driver’s license, with the privilege to drive in the State of Washington. Insurability with the District's insurance carrier. Meet or exceed the District's physical, medical, and psychological standards.
