Position Title: Firefighter/Paramedic

Valid Kentucky Paramedic License at appointment
Certified Firefighter (KY Basic 1 and Basic 2 through KY Fire Commission)
Ability to Read/Speak English: Yes
College: Not Required
Academy Certification: Required (KY Basic 1 and 2)
Prior Experience: Not Required (Lateral Entry available with 2+ years experience)
Hiring Process:

CPAT (Candidate Physical Ability Test) – certification required at hire

Lateral Entry Program:Applicants with two (2) or more years of full-time experience as a Firefighter/Paramedic may qualify for:
