U.S. Citizen
20 years and 3 months at time of academy graduation
High school diploma (college preferred)
Valid driver’s license with at least 6 months of driving experience
Prince George’s County partners with the National Testing Network (NTN) for the written exam. The department will cover the cost of your initial written test.
Maryland Certified and Comparative Compliance Experienced Police Officers, and well as Entry-Level applicants with Military Experience or Bachelor's Degree are exempt from the test and should apply directly to Prince George's County.
