Salary: $8954 base monthly salary per the 2027 wage scale

Job Requirements

Age: 21 by hire date
Citizenship Required: Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to present documentation of such
High School Grad/GED: Yes
Valid Driver's License: Yes
Ability to Read/Speak English: Yes
Academy / Certification: Recruits will need to successfully complete EMT Certification and the Fire Academy, both provided by the District after the start date.
Additional Information: Candidates receiving conditional offers of employment must meet all minimum physical, medical, and suitability standards for firefighter including CPAT, medical exam, drug screening, psychological assessment, and background investigation with criminal history and driving record.

VOUCHER INFORMATION: We offer vouchers to cover the fee of a new test. There are no financial criteria to receive a voucher.
