The City of Sutherlin is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer (Entry-Level or Lateral).

Applicants must complete (within the past 12 months) a written FrontLine test administered by the National Testing Network (NTN) OR possess a four-year post-secondary degree issued by an accredited, degree-granting college or university recognized by the Oregon Office of Degree Authorization under the provisions of ORS 348-604.
The Sutherlin Police Department offers testing services for Police Officer positions through the National Testing Network (NTN). To register with NTN and schedule a test, go to www.nationaltestingnetwork.com, select 'Find Jobs', select Law Enforcement Jobs, and sign up for the Sutherlin Police Department.
When you visit the www.nationaltestingnetwork.com website:
Review the Frequently Asked Questions and take an online practice test (if desired).
Upon completion of your scheduled exam, scores are automatically forwarded to the Sutherlin Police. Candidates who attain a passing score on the entry-level exam will be placed on the Sutherlin Police eligibility list. Sutherlin City will contact candidates on the list and will invite them to participate in further stages of the selection process.
