Part-Time Firefighter/EMT/ParamedicDepartment: Northfield Village Fire Department Position Summary:Northfield Village Fire Department is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Firefighter/EMT/Paramedic.Part-Time Firefighter/EMT/Paramedics fill the 4th operational shift on the fire department and provide coverage for time off for full-time firefighters. Salary:• Starting Pay: $22.08/hour• Top Pay: $25.74/hour• Pay increases every 6 months until top-out rate is reached
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following requirements: • Have the mental and physical capacity to meet the job requirements• Be certified as a Level II Firefighter and EMT-Basic, or be certified as a Paramedic within six months of hire date• Be a high school graduate• Be at least 18 years of age• Submit evidence of successful completion, within the past 12 months, of the Cuyahoga Community College, Auburn Career Center, or Stark State Firefighters Agility Test• Have a valid driver’s license• Submit an unofficial driver’s abstract with the application
