The City of Marysville is currently hiring Part-time Firefighter, EMT- Basics (enrolled in medic school)/ EMT-Paramedics. The Marysville Division of Fire is a full service (Fire & EMS) department. Positions are responsible for Firefighter/EMT duties, fire suppression, HazMat, rescue, training, and daily maintenance.

Salary Information: $19.00 (EMT-B)-$22.00 (EMT-P) per hour depending on qualifications

Department Overview:
The Marysville Division of Fire proudly serves 30,000+ people living in and around the City of Marysville. The Fire Division is comprised of 60 dedicated staff members assigned to Administration, Operation and Fire Prevention. In 2012 and 2013 the City opened two new fire stations, replacing a single aging facility. The Fire Division utilizes strategic planning and is a progressive “all risk” organization. The Fire Division responds to approximately 4,000 calls annually and is an active participant in automatic aid locally, as well as statewide mutual aid system. The Fire Division utilizes a proactive Community Paramedicine program, Community Services/outreach education, a Dive Team, Hazardous Material Response Team (Type II), Special Response Team (SRT) and a Regional Water Rescue Task Force.
