The City of Springdale is accepting applications for entry level firefighters until 4:00pm on Friday, June 6, 2025
We are currently recruiting highly trained and motivated people with exceptional customer service skills who are interested in becoming Firefighter/Paramedics or Firefighter/EMTs with one of Arkansas' most progressive Fire/Rescue/EMS departments.
Pay for Firefighter/EMTs currently ranges from $46,350 to $56,032 yearly
Pay for Firefighter/Paramedics currently ranges from $54,590 to $65,994 yearly**Pay range varies, dependent upon qualifications**
Our members receive holiday pay and automatic FLSA overtime in addition to the base pay listed above.

2.) Register for a FireTEAM test through the National Testing Network (NTN) at https://www.nationaltestingnetwork.com/publicsafetyjobs/. During the registration process, select "Springdale Fire Department" to receive your test results.
3.) Successfully pass a certified IAFF/IAFC CPAT exam and upload your card to your application. CPAT results are good for one year and must be current at the time of hire. The CPAT is administered locally by the NWA Metropolitan Fire Chiefs Association: https://www.nwatoa.site/cpat-testing/.
