Salary Information: $58,904.82 – 83,994.90; Recruits with no OPOTA $20.00 per hour; Laterals may start at a similar step depending on years of service.

Department Overview: A career with the Troy Police Department offers an excellent opportunity to grow with one of the most modern and progressive Police Departments in the area. There are 43 sworn officers including our Chief, 3 captains, 6 sergeants, 33 patrolmen, and civilian staff. Officers assigned to patrol work 8.5 hour shifts on a 6/3 schedule. Residency is required within Miami County or any adjacent county (Champaign, Darke, Greene, Montgomery or Shelby).
