Job Classification: Police Officer: New Officers or Laterals (Arizona State Laterals or Out of State)
The City of Flagstaff is currently offering a $10,000 hiring bonus for lateral officers and a $5,000 for non-lateral officers who are hired and complete field training.
The Flagstaff Police department is testing ongoing for Police Officers or Laterals (Arizona State Lateral or Out of State). Applicants local to the Flagstaff area may complete the NTN test at Northern Arizona University. Arizona Laterals and Out of State Laterals are exempt from testing with NTN.

All of these documents must be completed and notarized as necessary in order to participate in the selection process. The completed forms should be emailed to nalmendarez@flagstaffaz.gov or if you do not have computer access they may be mailed or delivered to Human Resources at 211 West Aspen Avenue, Flagstaff, AZ, 86001.
Once these two requirements are met (completed written exam and above documentation), you will be notified of the time and location for a physical fitness test followed by an oral board interview.
The physical assessment exam consists of the following:
Each area is a pass/fail component. If you fail any portion of the physical assessment exam, you will be eliminated from the testing process. Please note, our department does not require the NTN physical.
