Salary Information:

Annual starting salary for new hires is $75,837, which increases to $78,792 at six-month anniversary, and an additional 5% at one year anniversary.

Department Information:

MPD's dedicated team consists of nearly 190 employees and over 30 volunteers, committed to delivering excellent police services and outstanding customer service in all operations.

This role is for Patrol Officers tasked with covering one of the five beats in our City. We require our officers to not only respond to service calls but also actively patrol their assigned areas and build relationships with our citizens. Officers are encouraged to seek innovative solutions to recurrent issues to help reduce crime.
