(Full–Time) Entry Level and Lateral Transfer
The Sharon Township Police Department is building an ongoing eligibility list for Police Officers. ALL candidates must have OPOTA Certification.
Currently, the police department has three full-time openings and two part-time openings.
The department requires the candidate's PHQ. You can access the questionnaire through your candidate account. NTN suggests completing the PHQ as soon as possible so the hiring process is not delayed.

Salary Information:
FTO Training /Certificating to $50,363.04
Step A to $54,905.76
Step B To $60,933.60
Step C To $68,927.04
Step D To $79,366.56
It takes approximately 4 years or less to advance to Step D. Every year the Chief of Police will submit a salary increase request to the Board of Trustees for approval.
Part-time pay ranges from $15.83 per hour to $20.50 per hour.
Shift Differential Pay: 2nd shift $1.25 per hour 3rd shift $1.00 per hour
